Shit shit shit shit, I saw that and didn't get tickets yet.

It's a Saturday show, It's an early show, and since another event starts at 10:00pm, I should be home by 10:30 or so.

Perfect combination for OMCS (old man concert syndrome)

Yeah, DC. Sorry. As for the Brickskeller however, it's been remodeled and reopened as the Bier Baron. Same place, same selection, just newer and nicer. So it's not a total loss, though I haven't been by the new place yet.

yeah I heard about that. I am curious. Wonder if they still have the dumbwaiter still in place. My buddy used to bartend there. Many a drunken night 505 has spent there

Yeah, I'm not sure. But from what I read, the new owners wanted to keep the feel much as it was, just updating the bar and lighting and sanitation (it was a dirty place after all, as much as I loved it...).

I'm happy to see he's not DJing shirtless dance parties and is back to playing rock'n'roll. Zero sarcasm intended, and no malice either. I wondered what he was doing during that period.

P.S.: I always enjoyed The Big Hunt not just for its crazy art but mostly because I could say "big hunt" repeatedly. That and it was reasonable and old.
